This hotel has stepped up and literally rolled out the carpet! We had a shuttle to the beach with ice cold water, the beach had a rolled out rubber mat and a chairs and umbrella’s set up for us to enjoy! Chris was amazing!! He made our stay so comfortable, we will definitely be back.

Nice hotel. Great location. This place is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of OC but close enough to enjoy all there is to do in the area. Easy to access the beach from Fenwick Inn; it’s a short walk across the street. Hotel has a decent pool but it’s on the smaller side. Same for the jacuzzi. The hotel had a pet area right outside the hotel that’s well maintained and easily accessible. Only downside is that there are not a lot of room choices for the pet rooms, but the rooms are nice. Reasonable prices too even during the busy season.

Stay Over Memorial Day Weekend (May 24–26, 2025) I recently spent the Memorial Day weekend at this hotel, and overall, it left a favorable impression. Here's a breakdown of how things went: 1. Room Quality The accommodations were clean, spacious, and comfortable—a real highlight of my stay. Everything felt fresh, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. It was exactly what you want after a long travel day. 2. Location & Convenience The hotel’s location was ideal—extremely convenient with access to nearby attractions and amenities. Whether I wanted to explore the area or run quick errands, everything was within easy reach. 3. Pool Experience The indoor pool was inviting—but the pool water had too much chlorine. Just being in the area made my eyes sting, which detracted from the relaxing vibe I was hoping for. 4. Complimentary Breakfast I appreciated the free breakfast—it was tasty and a solid way to start the morning. That said, I did feel there could have been a slightly wider variety of options to choose from, especially during a busy holiday weekend. 5. Staffing During the Holiday Rush During the busy holiday weekend, the hotel appeared to be understaffed—there was only one person manning the front desk. It led to longer wait times at check-in/check-out and occasionally felt like things were stretched thin. Would I Stay Again? Yes. Despite a few minor drawbacks, the comfortable rooms, perfect location, and enjoyable breakfast made this a stay worth repeating—especially if the pool chlorine level is adjusted and staffing is improved during busy weekends.

Room was a bit small, and didn’t come WITH a microwave. For the price, I really woulda thought you’d get a fully furnished room. But we were able to call down and get a microwave. For families with small kids, this is the dream hotel. Water splash pad at the pool for kids to play around, with some cool water park themed type things to do. Hot tub. Pool, Can’t really beat it. 5/5 stars for sure.

Nice place, got it last minute and enjoyed my experience. King size bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was very nice and the AC was great. Theres an indoor pool and hot tub, the smell of chlorine is extremely strong in the room but what would you expect. Breakfast was alright, breakfast sandwiches (sausage and egg), muffins, bananas, bagels, pancake maker, juice. Everything was decent. Not extraordinary but decent and nice. The only issue I had was the shower floor being completely flat so sand was really difficult to wash down the drain and the shower water pressure was awful, too spread out or too dense and powerful.

It’s great for what it is. Surprisingly clean and well maintained. I was shocked. My grandkids had a great time at the indoor pool and splash pad. It’s not a high-end resort, but it is a great value.

Decent stay, but bring earplugs and your own toiletries We stayed at this hotel and overall had a pretty good time—but there are a few things future guests should know. First, noise is a real issue. Quiet hours are posted as 10pm–8am, but don’t expect much peace. Around 11pm, a family returned to the room above us and their kids were literally bouncing off the walls—or more accurately, the beds and floors. It sounded like a trampoline park overhead. We were honestly surprised they didn’t crash through the ceiling. Then at 2am, a group of drunk girls came barreling down the hallway screaming, slammed into their door, and continued yelling for another 10 minutes before finally settling down. If you’re a light sleeper, this could be a dealbreaker. Also, while the hotel claims each room comes stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, all of our bottles were completely empty. Not a huge deal since we brought our own, but still worth noting. And don’t expect an extra roll of toilet paper—what’s in the bathroom is all you get. You'll have to go down to the front desk. I'm surprised there wasnt an extra roll like other hotels have. Despite all that, the location was great and the room itself was clean and comfortable. If they could tighten up on the noise and restock the basics, this place would easily earn five stars.
